Vienna
The Jewish Museum Vienna traces the history and culture of the city's Jewish community across two sites, a townhouse on Dorotheergasse and a square in the medieval ghetto. Displays cover religious life, the flourishing of Jewish Vienna around 1900, and its destruction under Nazism. The Judenplatz branch stands above the excavated foundations of a medieval synagogue.
