Museo Storico Navale di Venezia

The Naval History Museum, by the gate of the Arsenale, traces the maritime power and shipbuilding technology of the Venetian Republic. Detailed ship models, navigational instruments, and a reconstruction of the doge's ceremonial galley, the Bucintoro, fill its floors. An adjoining pavilion holds historic boats and gondolas.
