The Victoria and Albert Museum is the world's largest museum of art and design, with collections spanning sculpture, ceramics, fashion, jewellery, furniture, and photography across five thousand years. The Cast Courts hold full-scale plaster casts of Trajan's Column and Michelangelo's David, and the Raphael Cartoons are shown in a purpose-built gallery. Admission to the permanent collection is free.
