Vienna
The Albertina occupies a Habsburg residence at the southern tip of the Hofburg, built above one of the world's great collections of prints and drawings. The state rooms survive alongside galleries showing the Batliner Collection, which runs from Monet and Degas to Picasso. Dürer's watercolour of a young hare, too fragile for constant display, is among its treasures.
