Vienna
The Weltmuseum Wien, in the Neue Burg wing of the Hofburg, is one of the world's leading ethnographic museums, with some two million objects from across the globe. Its most famous treasure is an ancient Mexican feather headdress, long associated with Moctezuma, the only one of its kind to survive. Collections gathered on James Cook's voyages and nineteenth-century expeditions fill fourteen galleries.
