Paris
The Musée national Picasso-Paris holds the largest public collection of the artist's work, in the seventeenth-century Hôtel Salé in the Marais. The holdings, drawn largely from works retained at his death, span every phase of his career across painting, sculpture, prints, and ceramics. It also keeps Picasso's own collection of works by other artists.
