Dom Museum Wien

The Dom Museum Wien, beside St. Stephen's Cathedral, holds the cathedral's medieval treasures alongside Gothic painting, Baroque art, and a substantial collection of modern and contemporary work. The juxtaposition of sacred objects with twentieth-century art is the museum's defining approach. Early portrait panels and a duke's shroud are among its oldest holdings.
