Vienna
The Museum of Military History occupies a vast nineteenth-century arsenal building and traces Austrian and Habsburg military history from the Thirty Years' War onward. Among its holdings is the car in which Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in Sarajevo in 1914, displayed with his bloodstained uniform. Halls of weapons, uniforms, and naval models fill the brick complex.
