Cooper Hewitt is the Smithsonian's design museum, set in Andrew Carnegie's former mansion on Museum Mile. Its collection spans wallcoverings, textiles, product design, and drawings across three centuries, drawn from holdings of more than two hundred thousand objects. Interactive galleries let visitors sketch and manipulate designs that respond on the gallery walls.
