The Haus der Musik is an interactive sound museum spread over several floors of a historic building near the State Opera. Exhibits explore the physics of hearing, the history of the Vienna Philharmonic, and the city's great composers, with rooms that let visitors conduct a virtual orchestra. It occupies the former home of Otto Nicolai, founder of the Philharmonic.
