Boston
Built around 1680, the Paul Revere House is the oldest surviving structure in downtown Boston and was the silversmith's home at the time of his 1775 ride. The dark clapboard building survives as a rare example of early colonial urban architecture. Rooms are furnished to the period, with a courtyard and an adjoining building interpreting the family's trades.
