M+ is Hong Kong's museum of contemporary visual culture, opened in 2021 in the West Kowloon Cultural District on the edge of Victoria Harbour. Designed by Herzog & de Meuron in an inverted-T form, its podium of galleries is topped by a tower clad in an LED facade that screens moving-image works across the harbour at night. The collection spans visual art, design and architecture, and moving image from Hong Kong and across Asia, anchored by the M+ Sigg Collection of Chinese contemporary art.
