The first major Austrian exhibition dedicated to Finnish national artist Akseli Gallen-Kallela (1865–1931), whose paintings of the Finnish landscape and mythology made him a central figure in Symbolism and Art Nouveau. The Lower Belvedere show gathered works from Finnish and international collections.
